THIS GOVERNMENT IS BENEATH CONTEMPT: [Jul. 28th, 2009|10:58 am]
So here we have a dysfunctional Brown sanctioning a further £9K for MPs' expenses, effectively doubling their allowance for unreceipted claims. He treats the electorate with  utter contempt when you consider another bureaucratic department in the guise of the MoD is trying to lower compensation for our wounded troops. This is typical of a Labour Government that is completely out of touch with public opinion. "I'm alright Jack" is the attitude of these Champagne socialists. They had better make the most of it whilst they can, because they will be demolished and consigned to the dustbin of history at the next general election.

BROWN'S FINANCES ARE CATASTROPHIC: [Jul. 21st, 2009|08:01 am]
Loss of tax receipts is another gross example of how Brown has mishandled the economy. For how much longer will this country have to suffer the indignity of having a completely rotten and dysfunctional Government. They have ruined our pensions, ruined our savings, ruined our jobs, ruined our economy and ruined our standard of living. The worst Government in history has saddled our next two generations with a Government debt  that will take the next 40 years to repay through higher taxation.
Brown, Darling and his coterie of misfits cannot be trusted. Now it is revealed the NAO will not sign off the Treasury's accounts because they did not get Parliamentary approval & permission to grant RBS & Lloyds the £24 billion asset protection insurance scheme. This just demonstrates another example of Brown's contempt for sidelining Parliament. What utter shambles and now they are off on an 82 day Summer holiday break. What a hypocritical Government.

BROWN MAKES MATTERS WORSE: [Jun. 26th, 2009|08:32 am]
The biggest impediment to a smooth relationship between Chancellor and Governor is the PM. He has implemented policies that have virtually bankrupted our country and lack support from all financial institutions. Brown is insane and alone when he thinks he can spend his way out of trouble. He has single handidly and unfairly saddled our children and grand children with a debt that will take 40 years to repay through higher taxation. This PM has no policies or time scale to salvage our economy and must be stopped through a General Election. He has obviously lost the confidence of the Governor of the B of E, who correctly wants regulatory powers restored, scrapping of the dysfunctional FSA and a return to normality.(Whatever that is).
Left in power, Brown will continue to practise financial vandalism on an epic scale.

MACSHANE'S OPINION WORTHLESS: [May. 3rd, 2009|06:35 am]

I have never read so much nonsence from a former Labour Minister. MacShane is a self -opinionated former Minister for Europe who mismanaged by obfuscation and got most of his facts wrong about Europe and the Lisbon Treaty by always looking down the wrong end of the political telescope.
His partisan comments about Brown are not worth the paper they are written on. He neatly forgets this clown ruined our pensions, ruined our savings and busted our economy. This pathetic Government had to sell £45 billion in Gilts last week to keep functioning. MacShane can make all the excuses he wants and fantacise about Brown. MacShane must face reality, the facts are there for all to see' Brown has malfunctioned over his tenure in office and is finished. We cannot afford dysfunctional Labour anymore. Whilst this greedy, sleaze ridden lot remain in power, millions more lose their jobs. Remember it is not Oppositions that win elections, it is Governments that lose them.

LABOUR'S LEGACY OF PAIN. [Apr. 27th, 2009|12:59 pm]

The country is in a financial chasm of despair with every man, woman and child saddled with a debt of over £20,000+ of Government debt. This is greater than the debts accumulated after fighting two world wars; a truly staggering sum. They have virtually bankrupted the country. They have ruined our pensions, ruined our savings, jobs and businesses. The country has been mismanaged by a dysfunctional PM and his dysfunctional, greedy, sleazy and dishonest Government. The country is now facing the debtors register in the international financial world and must repay this debt. If we fail our country will be turned into a wasteland with no ability to support its population. No wonder Labour membership has collapsed; they are running away from their embarrassing leadership.

Better that D.C and his team keep their solutions, policies and powder dry ready for a time nearer a General Election. As this Government has demonstrated complete and utter lack of understanding of financial aspects and consequences, better to keep Labour waiting as they would wrongly interpret solutions and make matters worse.

The whole country will now wait again on the Tories to sort out our finances because, as before, Labour has run out of ideas, credibility and OTHER people's money.

Royal Mail / Post Office JOBS? [Feb. 24th, 2009|07:38 am]

What prospects have our loyal Royal Mail staff? For 23 years up to the year 2000, the Post Office organisation (Royal Mail) had successfully made substantial profits. In that year, Chancellor Brown deliberately took those profits from Royal Mail and left them severely disadvantaged. He also held secret talks with a Dutch rival, TPG, with a view to selling Royal Mail, then known as Consignia.

However, the cross-party watchdog Postcomm, set up by an Act of Parliament, had no intention of presiding over a postal service that was to be ‘flogged off’ to the Netherlands. This conflict with Brown has come back to haunt his Government. Mr McGovern MP Dundee East, resigned as PPC to Postal Minister McFadden (17/12/08) because hectoring Mandleson is again trying to sell to another Dutch rival, TNT, breaking another Labour Party Manifesto promise.

We now have a dysfunctional Government determined to sell off a vital industry with the loss of 16,000 thousand jobs. This will unleash further industrial unrest on a collapsed economy. The base line is Royal Mail is finished under this Government. History shows Labour voted for the Post Offices Services Bill (which led to the closing of thousands of local post offices) and also agreed covertly to support EU Directives 97/67/EU and 2002/39/EC. This effectively put Royal Mail under unfair competition from German controlled DHL and other Dutch firms and has steadily eroded the profitable parts of the business ever since.

Lets face facts; this Government has turned Royal Mail, since 2000, into a financial basket case, unable to operate an efficient business plan and a mounting pension fund deficit of £7 billion plus. They now desperately seek to hide Brown’s years of interference behind a sell off. Hopefully the long-suffering postal workers and public will realise this ‘fire sale’ is a continuation of Labour’s vandalising policies towards the postal service in this country. They have again broken a Manifesto commitment to preserve Royal Mail and tens of thousands of postal service workers’ jobs another example of this Government’s gross incompetence.

WILL BROWN ADMIT MISMANAGEMENT ? [Feb. 15th, 2009|06:06 am]

ARE YOU FINISHED MR.BROWN ?

Where this PM gets his statistical analysis from is anyone’s guess. Nobody believes him as he refuses to accept any responsibility for 12 years of mismanagement of our domestic economy. How much longer is he going to remain in denial? He surely cannot continue to blame all contagion on the 'global crisis'?

His fingerprints are all over the crime scene and can be traced back to Downing Street. As Chancellor he removed the regulatory powers of the Bank of England to monitor banks use and abuse of financial instruments. By doing so he drastically weakened those charged with management of 'risk'.

His substitution with the FSA proved totally flawed and ineffective. He created a 'club' that would self regulate, but their omissions have been catastrophically revealed. Some banks abused their positions of trust and failed.

After 12 years running our domestic economy, Brown in conjunction with recalcitrant, greedy Bankers have endangered the financial stability of financial system.

This has been compounded by his reckless Government's spending and borrowing which has brought our great country ignominiously to its knees. His performance has been truly catastrophic. He may remain defiant, but he knows he is finished.
